His Name is Alive “Mouth By Mouth” LP

His Name Is Alives final record on 4AD,Mouth By Mouthwas the first where the

band controlled all processes including mixing, saw a marked shift; their most diverse, yet accessible catalog entry. The projectssoaring growth over time allowed Defeverto employ an extraordinarily adventurousapproach to the records sound and vision, indulging his love for all kinds of music, beit tastes of looped dub, sugar-sweet 1960spop, distortion-laden dream-gaze, evocative

alt-noise or strummy folk. Embracing thesurreal and turning their experimentalismup a notch and with Defevers studio skillstruly blossoming, many see this as a highpoint for the band.
