Harold and Maude

Harold (Bud Cort) is a rich teenager obsessed with death; Maude (Ruth Gordon) is a wacky septuagenarian who loves life. Their bittersweet romance makes for an uproarious and touching dark comedy that you will want to see again and again. Harold’s faked suicides, Maude’s eccentricities, and Cat Stevens’ score make this a very special movie; directed by Hal Ashby. With Vivian Pickles, Cyril Cusack, Ellen Geer. 91 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
