Yeah Yeah Yeahs “S/T” 12″ EP

45 RPM self-released EP on 12-inch vinyl. This five-song long EP is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ first production, and it set the groundwork for what would go on to become one of the most beloved alternative rock bands from the last decade. Their influences range from bluesy garage rock to punk to no-wave. Nick Zinner’s guitar prowess shines, Brian Chase’s drumming is dynamic, and Karen O’s vocals are sultry, unearthly, sexy and cute and badass all at once. These are visceral, hedonistic, yet cathartic songs, and are worth a listen both for devoted Yeah Yeah Yeahs fans and newcomers. Go on, hop on board.
